At this time of year, Yorkshire’s produce can be at its very finest. Winter vegetables accompanied by high welfare Beef, Pork, Lamb, Chicken and Fish brought together by delicious sauces and intensely flavoured jus; what more could we ask for?
Of course we have our locally reared Turkey with all the trimmings, but we also have our mighty Featherblade of locally reared, dry aged Beef is served with buttered mashed potato, celeriac purée, roasted shallots, bone marrow butter and red wine jus. Our trio of Woodland Pork (confit belly Pork stuffed with French black pudding, braised Pork Cheek croquette), is served with honey glazed Parsnips, crispy crackling, baked apple purée and rich pork pus. Our slow cooked Lamb Belly comes with a pea & mint croquette, hispi cabbage, broad beans, homemade beetroot ketchup and lamb jus
If you prefer Fish, we have our pan roasted North Sea Cod with petit pois, spinach & mussel stock risotto, steamed mussels, golden beetroot carpaccio, crispy artichokes and citrus glaze
