Established in 1985, and located on Raglan Street, just off Princess Square, The Tannin Level has become one of the best loved restaurants in Harrogate. Renowned for its wines (its name is a wine term after all!) as well as its food, it has garnered an enviable reputation as one of Harrogate’s foremost independent restaurants.
The Tannin Level has a certain style and an unmistakable elegance, but this doesn’t come from the desk of a Commercial Interior Design Practice, it’s derived from the very fabric of the building. Set in the ground floor of a Victorian mansion, its many original features combine to create the unique Tannin Level ambience.
The 90 cover Restaurant is very spacious and is spread over 3 elegant dining rooms each of which encompass cosy corners and alcoves, perfect for a romantic meal for two, whilst the largest dining room can cater for parties of up to 30 diners. Special menus can also be created for larger parties if required – simply call or email us to discuss your requirements.
Our food is modern British with a Tannin Level twist, and we use only the very best seasonal ingredients, locally sourced wherever possible. Furthermore, every component of every dish is lovingly made from scratch by our passionate team of Chefs here at the Tannin Level, so you can be sure that everything on your plate is the very best it can be.
